Leo Falgout
Co-Founder
Leo is a co-founder of Bent Tree Writing. He is a seasoned technical writer whose background in security, compliance, and engineering has honed his ability to communicate concepts with clarity and precision. At a boutique security firm, he led a technical writing team which included 20+ freelancers and developed a framework for selling and producing intellectual property quickly and effectively, generating millions in sales at high margins.
His work philosophy begins with the end in mind: breaking down the project into actionable tasks and balancing poise with decisiveness when conflicts arise. Leo is an alumnus of Georgia Tech and UIUC, where he studied polymer science and engineering, managed a lab course, and worked in the John Rogers Research Group. He currently lives in Dallas, Texas, drumming alongside his dog, Abby.
Anna is a co-founder of Bent Tree Writing. She has published documents in a variety of fields, including security, life sciences, and consumer products, accounting for audience awareness and informational accuracy. She brings experience in blending clear, concise writing with visual communication to create audience-focused content. At a boutique security firm, she constructed narratives and visual designs for clients, ensuring timely delivery and positive responses.
Her work philosophy demands attentively listening to her clients in order to produce meticulously crafted deliverables. Her patience and focus even made her an expert with the soldering iron at one point. Anna holds a certificate in technical writing and a degree in Art History from the University of North Texas. She currently resides in Dallas, Texas, with her boyfriend and their two fur babies, Ozzy and Buddy.
